Now I’m deciding when to officially publish Book 1, which honestly feels surreal after spending so long living in this world.

Writing Update: A Temporary Pause

I wanted to share a quick update about my writing. Over the past week, I’ve had to put writing on hold due to a possible autoimmune issue that has been causing significant swelling in my fingers. At times they’ve quite literally looked like sausages, which unfortunately makes typing and writing a bit difficult. Right now, I’m in the process of going through medical testing—including a recent biopsy—to try to get some answers about what’s going on. While I’m hopeful that this will lead to some clarity, it does mean that my writing schedule has had to slow down for the moment. If you know me, you know that writing is incredibly important to me, so stepping away from it—even temporarily—has been difficult. However, taking the time to focus on my health is something I need to do right now. My hope is that this pause will only be temporary and that I’ll be able to return to the keyboard soon.   Writing & Drawing Update ✨🖤 Somehow between working full-time, wrangling kids, and chasing dogs who believe they’re faster than the speed of light 🐕💨… I am making progress! 📚 Edits: I’ve officially hit the halfway point on The Endless Dark ! 🎉 Progress is slow (see above chaos), but steady. Every stolen pocket of time—early mornings, late nights, and coffee-fueled weekends—gets me one step closer to a story I can’t wait to share with you. 🎨 Art: To celebrate, I’ve been sketching some of the characters, and now Rhordan, Vesna, Amara, and Keris (the Endless of Darkness) have faces on paper! It’s been a blast bringing them to life visually, even if they sometimes refuse to sit still in my imagination long enough for me to draw them. ✨ The Chaos Factor: Writing while parenting + working + dog-chasing = not for the faint of heart.
